One of the leading Spanish pianists of the new generation. He is a graduate of the “Madrid Royal Conservatory” as well as from 1997 to 2006 in the celebrated "Tchaikowsky Conservatory" in Moscow studying under the guide of the esteemed pianist Mikhail Voskressensky and concluding his doctorate at the "Tchaikowsky Conservatory" in the advanced class of the great russian pianist Victor Merzhanov.

His concert and recitalist career has been prolific, performing in Union United States of America, South America, important concert halls in Europe, throughout Russia (Yaroslavl, Ekaterinburgo, Redva, Tver, Moscow, Kamensk-Uralsky, Saint Petersburgh, Tula Tiumen, Oktyabrsk, Tobolsk  –Siberia-  ....), and the the ex Soviet.

We have to point out his concerts and master classes for the Fordhan University of New York as well as the ones in the Chicago Cultural Center in the USA, in the Pushkin Museum in Moscow , in the International Auditorium "Music House" also in Moscow", Maly Saal" in the Tchaikowsky Conservatory, Russian Compositors Union Hall, in the "Concert Hall Keiro Senior Health Care" in Los Angeles (California) , in the Auditorium "Conde Duque" in Madrid (Spain) , also in the "Teatro Oriente" in Santiago de Chile , in the "Bolshoi Filharmonic Hall" in Ekaterinburgo, in the Opera of Cairo. In addition to presentations with orquestras in over twenty Capitals ; Rome (Italy) ,Tula, Moscow, Saint Petersburg (Russia) , Donesk (Ukraine) , Santarem (Portugal) , Antofagasta  , Santiago de Chile , Madrid (Spain).... and so on.

In 2.007 , Jose Luis Nieto was invited by the "Latino Chicago Composers" after his success in the USA as  a foreign solo pianist ,to perform his new creations in 2.008 during the "Latino Music Festival " in Chicago.

In 2006 he open the chamber orchestra “Sinfonietta Moscow”. On various occasions he has performed with the "Orchestra Virtuosos del Conservatorio Tchaikowsky", with the "Chamber Orchestra Gniesen" , "Filarmony Orchestra Prokofiev", the "Nova Amadeus Orchestra" , "Ensamble de Solistas Hermitage"…  He has also performed with great artists like Alexei Utkin and Elena Obratsova and shared billing in many international festivals with musicians such as Vladimir Spivakov and Yuri Bashmet

Jose Luis Nieto has recorded four CD´s  which have been released in Spain with great reviews from specialized critics.
